Laura Windley is the vocalist for the Durham-based Mint Julep Jazz Band, a little big band specializing in the hot jazz and swing of the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. She is also involved in the swing dance community in Raleigh and Durham, NC, as an event organizer, DJ, and coordinator of local dancers for performances. Laura is the main contributor for Lindy Shopper, a blog about swing dance clothing, shoes, and other things dancers may find useful.
